We loved exploring the historic property with hidden patios and surprising halls. The gardens were beautiful and well-kept with a variety of trees and shrubs. The staff was friendly and impeccable, and the food at the restaurant was mostly excellent.
Don't have any issues at all.

This hotel offers exclusive amenities and fulfilled all our luxurious needs. Service was impeccable and the Spa & wellness centre was outstanding. the outdoor Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for relaxation. the garden area and Sun terrace were ideal for reading. the private facilities were exclusive and the Restaurant offered exquisite and diverse dinner options.
The only minor issue was the limited options for packed lunches and special diet menus.

hacienda is a beautiful place. old town is worth a visit and ability to sleep in its rooms is fabulous. furniture in the rooms and common areas is fantastic. All antique.
1. The first two days we were in a room with three people. Asking for a second key to have it with us, it was not possible to have it, they did not have it. We asked for a third bathrobe, they answered that only two per room where we were and it was paid for three people. 2. Several families stayed with us and when we went to the restaurant, we asked for separate bills and they still charged us for dishes that another family consumed and they were also charged. At one meal the prices of a coffee were charged at different prices between the families. The very expensive prices for drinks were charged to us for a glass of cognac 200 pesos. The value of their bottle. 3. I do not recommend it for events with many families or friends. Only if you rent the whole hacienda is it possible.

The food is deliciousaaaaa!!! and even reasonable price, the beautiful architecture as well as the decoration. the gardens, fountains, everything very nice, if you are into antiques this is the hotel, it's like sleeping in an antique shop, the treatment of their staff very friendly and attentive.
room I hired was beautiful, I loved it, air conditioning was not working, it had a terrible noise, as well as the fan, so we did not sleep well that night, from that same room the water in the shower tub did not leave, so my husband took a bath with the water up to his ankles with which I had bathed, I hate myself hahaha. I reported the next day and very kindly they moved me to another room, apparently more expensive, I didn't like it, I was in an outside corridor where everyone was passing by making noise and from very early on they started making arrangements in an adjacent room and hammered us awake, plan was to go and rest and sleep until the body wanted to.

Pretty well everything. Our rooom was smallish but perfectly adequate. The whole place was a fascinating museum, with surprises in all parts of the hotel. There were so many hidden patios and halls. The grounds were ample and well kept. Then there was the lake and the orchard to happen upon, and all the different species of trees and shrubs to enjoy. The food in the restaurant was mostly excellent, and the service impeccable.
Nothing much at all.

This hidden gem in a serene location is a must-visit. the beautiful area features waterfalls cascading down one of the walls. the 1529 Cortez fortress is an added bonus. the elegant rooms have an old-world charm, and the bathrooms are spacious. the breakfast spread is varied, and the service is impeccable. We loved the privacy of the pool area and the lush grounds. the staff provides an array of activities like horseback riding and spa treatments.
The hotel's remote location might be a hassle for those looking for hustle and bustle.

Spent Easter weekend at a charming hacienda surrounded by lush greenery. Loved the beautiful pool area, which allowed for intimate gatherings with our group. Breakfast buffet was impressive and the chef did a great job explaining the regional specialties.
The isolated location was a big turn off. It took over 3 hours to get there from the nearest airport.

Super comfortable beds, the biggest TV we've ever seen in a hotel room, and the complimentary breakfast was a great way to start our busy business days. The hotel’s location was perfect for getting to our meetings quickly, and the surrounding area had great restaurants to choose from when we had dinner plans. The staff were always friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and appreciated.
The Wi-Fi was spotty at times, which was frustrating because we needed to work on our laptops after hours. The noise level from outside street traffic made it difficult to sleep at times.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
